QUALIFICATION
- Minimum Civil Engineer Degree
- Preferred Master’s in Construction Management or similar field
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- 5 years in Construction Management
- Preferrably with experience in multiple Residential Building Projects
- Must have experience of managing a team of Site Engineer’s
TASK & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning:
- Develop a Project Feasibility Report
- Coordination with Architects, Structural Engineer for Timely Completion of Drawings
- Coordination with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC Consultants for Design
- Coordination with Admin Department for timely Submission of Drawings to get approval
- from Relevant Departments
- Develop a WBS and scheduling of Projects
- Prepare/Check/Verify BOQ’s for all Activities along with rate analysis
- Coordination with Finance Department for development of Material, Labor and Overheads, Budgets
Organizing:
- Coordination with all relevant department for organizing Resources like timely availability of Funds (Finance), Material (Procurement), Labor (Amin & HR), Contractors (Procurement), Equipments (Admin, HR, Procurement, Inventory).
- Interpret and Explain plans to all Site Staff + Administrative Staff.
Controlling:
- Controlling Cost by regularly investigating and collecting reports from Site Engineers about Material demands and usage, Contractor’s work progress, Equipment Handling etc.
- Maintaining Record of Project Costs and estimating Future costs
- Constantly doing variance analysis or reconciliation of budgeted cost vs. Actual Cost at regular interval.
- Verification of Bills submitted by Contractors and Consultants
- Inspection of Important deliveries
- Generating timely demand for Materials and labor.
- Managing timeline for timely completion of Project as per desired plan
- Take actions to deal and coupe up with time loss due to rain, Strikes and other unforeseen circumstances.
- Assurance of Quality as per pre-defined set of Standards
Other:
- Preparing Contracts, Negotiate Revisions, Changes and Additions to Contractual
- Agreements with Consultants and Contractors
- Analyzing risks pertaining to Construction site and manage and address those risks.
- Compliance with all safety codes and relevant bye laws.
- Facilitating Project meetings.
